NC Factory design and prototyping in Antibes — engineering and manufacturing
Workshop in Antibes, France

About

NC Factory

Né pour Créer et Fabriquer

We guide clients from pre-design to prototyping, then production — market study, drawing, technical constraints and series.

The name

Why NC Factory

Né pour Créer et Fabriquer

Three letters, one intent: imagine the product, make it manufacturable, then build it — in the same Antibes workshop.

Né pour

Bring the idea to life

Everything starts with the real need: market, use cases, standards and constraints before the first line.

  • Market study and competitive context
  • Requirements, standards and use environment
  • Product hypotheses framed with the client

Créer

Design & validate

Technical creation: drawing, CAD, mechanical constraints and a theoretical prototype ready to machine.

  • CAD / DFM design oriented to manufacturing
  • Theoretical prototype then physical proto
  • Iterations until field validation

Factory

Manufacture & deliver

The Factory: production, machining, small series and follow-up — under the same roof as the engineering office.

  • First series and light industrialization
  • Machining, 3D printing, laser and assembly
  • Maintenance, spares and product evolution

N · C · F

One partner from idea to series — design and manufacturing integrated, with no handoff gap between office and workshop.

NC Factory is not a marketing pun: it is a method. Né pour Créer (Born to Create) covers pre-design, drawing and validation; Factory covers production, machining and delivery. Together: an Antibes workshop where engineering and manufacturing talk continuously.

We help SMEs, startups and industrials turn an idea into a real product — market study, drawing, prototyping, documentation, then series — with optional white-label maintenance once the product is in the field.

The workshop

An in-house machine park

Several machines ready in our Antibes workshop: we design and manufacture on site, with very high reactivity.

FDM and SLA 3D printing, laser, finishing means and CAD station in the same space. Less waiting on subcontractors, more same-day iterations — from a single part to a small series.

This in-house capacity is the core of NC Factory: reactivity, quality control and continuity between the engineering office and production.

  • Multi-machine park to chain proto and series without handoff gaps
  • Fast iterations: feedback integrated in hours or days
  • Quality and lead times controlled under one roof in Antibes

01 — Pre-design

Framing · 1 to 3 weeks depending on complexity

Study the field before drawing — for a theoretical prototype ready to machine.

We analyse the market, context, standards, constraints, your expectations and those of end customers, plus the use environment.

Then we draw, design and validate technical and mechanical constraints. Goal: a theoretical prototype ready to machine — not a decorative render.

Next: build the physical prototype, or iterate on your feedback before freezing anything.

In this phase

  • Brief, use cases, constraints and standards
  • Feasibility study and process choice
  • Exploratory CAD and design review
  • Feedback loops before validation

You leave with

  • Validated theoretical prototype (manufacturable file)
  • Physical proto or iteration plan
  • Documented risks and assumptions

Key deliverable: an idea made manufacturable — ready for design lock-in.

02 — Design lock-in

Frozen dossier · then first series

Freeze the validated product — documentation, drawings and first series launch.

Once the prototype is validated and feedback integrated, we freeze the pack: technical documentation, assembly plan, after-sales strategy, lead times per part.

After these deliverables are approved, we launch the first series — NC Factory workshop, under the same roof as the engineering office.

In this phase

  • Technical dossier and BOMs
  • Assembly plan and shop process
  • After-sales / spares strategy upfront
  • Lead-time control part by part

You leave with

  • Frozen dossier ready for production
  • First series launched
  • Traceable manufacturing files

Key deliverable: an industrialisable product — documentation + series underway.

03 — Maintenance & evolution

Ongoing support · optional white label

Bring field feedback into the product over time.

This phase collects field feedback, corrects and evolves the product (materials, geometries, process) without starting from scratch.

We also offer white-label maintenance: your brand facing the customer, our workshop for support, spares and evolutions — files archived for identical reproduction.

In this phase

  • Field feedback and targeted fixes
  • Material / geometry / process evolutions
  • Spares and maintenance series
  • White-label option for your after-sales

You leave with

  • Living, versioned, traceable product
  • Spares from archived files
  • White-label maintenance frame if needed

Key deliverable: a product that lasts — evolutive, maintainable, under your brand if you want.

White label

Your brand. Our workshop.

White-label maintenance: you keep the customer relationship; NC Factory handles technical support, spares and evolutions — invisible to your clients.

Ideal if you sell a product designed or industrialised with us and want professional after-sales without growing an in-house workshop team. We operate under your brand: quotes, parts, iterations and deliveries stay consistent with your image.

Manufacturing files are archived and versioned: a part, a batch or an evolution can be reproduced identically, month after month.

What we do for you

  • After-sales & technical support

Diagnosis, advice and follow-up on customer requests — you remain the commercial contact.

  • Identical spare parts

Reprints from archived files, with materials and processes validated in series.

  • Product evolution

Field fixes, new SKUs and improvement mini-series without starting over.

  • White-label discretion

Packaging, docs and client communication under your identity — NC Factory stays back-office.

Benefits

  • You keep the brand

Your customers see your company, not a subcontractor.

  • No in-house shop needed

No need to hire for mechanical after-sales or small series.

  • Long-term traceability

Files, versions and processes documented for drift-free reproduction.

  • Short time-to-fix

Same team that designed the product: fewer handoffs, more precision.
