Rope guide / fairlead rollers for a sailboat were worn or unavailable. NC Factory reproduced them with 3D printing to fit the existing fittings, with a concave profile suited to the rope.

Approach

  • Measure dimensions and center bore
  • Design the profile (groove / hourglass) for the rope
  • Choose a material resistant to friction / UV / humidity
  • Small batch to replace several rollers at once

Original metal fittings are kept: only the rotating rollers are remade, which limits cost and boat downtime.

Typical marine case: worn plastic part + still-good metal fitting = targeted 3D reproduction.

Yes with the right material (Nylon, engineering PETG, etc.) and a suitable profile. We size by diameter and use.

Yes across Alpes-Maritimes ports when available.
